The Codex TFL 1.3 is the same as all the other TFL 1.3 versions. Try updating to 1.4.5 or whatever the heck the previous version was, and delete your preference files too. Also, it could be your computer has set right-click to control-click, check and see. TFL is older than Myth II, so I could have...

Okay, to get a formation to change directions there are three ways to do it. One was the way that was previously mentioned, by clicking and holding down on the selected units until the arrow appears and then dragging in the direction you want them to face. Another way is to hold down option or alt ...

The average human eye can't even see more than 24-30 fps anyway (or something around that)...so I'd say 60fps or more is acceptable. I normally get 90-120fps on my G4 PB 1Ghz. But jesus...600fps?!

I dunno if this is possible, but add in an option so a unit can perform multiple attacks at once. For example, lets say we have a custom unit that fires projectile x at distance a, but once a target gets into distance b, the unit will fire projectile x and projectile y...I've been messing with Fear...

Okay, in the "inbound" and "outbound" sections, put the port 3453 in there. If there's a help button or something, make sure that it isn't BLOCKING that port if you put it in there. If you can though, please get me a screenshot of the firewall options. I might be able to help yo...

Do you have a router? Go check, I'll wait... *waits* Okay, now, if you have a router, check to see what its IP is...there are two ways to do thing. 1) look at the instructions that came with it 2) go to System Preferences>Network>Ethernet (or wireless)>TCP/IP>look at the item called "Router&qu...

Actually I have a couple questions: The first two relate to Loathing. I'd go read the manual but the links aren't working anymore...the Bungie site no longer has the manuals for Fear and Loathing online anymore. 1. How do I edit the mesh? I'm trying to make cliffs, not hills...or dents...and its co...

I definitely think that an optional patch to make the units higher res would be fantastic. The M2 ones are just so chincy. Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I've never had any problems with the look of the units in M2. Except maybe for Alric's "funny walk"... M2 Dwarves beat the heck out o...

Myth II uses a modified TFL engine which in turn uses a modified Marathon 2 engine correct? Not quite. The Myth and Marathon engines are very different. Yes, they share some minimal code, mostly low-level things like sound code and basic linear algebra functions, but the core engine is very differe...

A lot of these things might be add-able (In the convoluted theory in my mind...) Myth II uses a modified TFL engine which in turn uses a modified Marathon 2 engine correct? Well, in Marathon, there were things like momentum and fighting on the run. Of course, Marathon was an FPS, so there'd obvious...

You know what would rock? Giving a flying unit the ability to 'not-stand-still' - basically, a plane wouldn't hover. So if someone made a plane unit, it should sort of fly in circles without ever having to set *foot* on the ground! (I refuse to edit that other post where I sort of, slipped up). I g...

I dont think you need to actually have a "run" sequence in the collection. You only need one SET in fear. For my monsters I have run set to the walk sequence and the animation seems to speed up on tis own when they charge... The important part is the terrain costs carlinho mentioned. righ...

Everytime I set food in ranked play, it's just full of arseholes who use words like 'noob' and whatever... See, thats the problem, you forget to leave drinks and a giant bear trap under the food. :p Seriously though...I like the idea of adding more colors...I dunno how hard it would be (I've been m...
