So after fiddling with these, it seems like I just need to be more careful about which plugins are turned on at any given time.
Thanks for your tip about the log file, it helps a lot.

Plugins Failing
Some, but not all of my plugins fail to play. For example, any level from "The Fallen Levels v2", and the "Comp_P.O.W. Rescue Mission" There is no error, the level appears to load, (blue bar fills up) and then I am immediately dumped back to the main menu. This is a fresh install...
