Hmm. That did the trick. What I don't understand, though, is if my Warlock Fisherman object was a direct copy of the Warlock Fireball object... Why did the behavior change?

you might be able to get away with using some other permissions-related tweaks if it's not ok for you to have admin access. acl's was the first thing that popped into my head.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say, "Permissions issue?" though I HIGHLY doubt it.

I'd get an app like Cocktail or Tiger Cache Cleaner and wipe your system logs and what not. If you're a UNIX guy, just save yourself some time and do it from Terminal.

Are there are any plans for out-of-game UI overhauls with Myth and/or Myth II? Played last night on Marius and when I quit, the Dock was fine. So, apparently it's not repeatable on a regular basis. :)

Myth does not crash on quit for me if I use 1.6 (not the Universal binary version). Also, my 9800 Pro has 256MB of VRAM. For what it's worth, I cap frame rate at 30.
