Yes Myth2 don't work perfectly with cedega!I tested and i often have backs to the desktop when i try to load map and multiplayer games!!!So, yes the better solution should be having a patch 1.5.1 for the native version of Myth2 Linux. I don't know if someone is working on it but i am ready...
