Taking the advice. Hmph.
Well, that is not what I had in mind, but I suppose it will work for now. I was thinking more along the lines of moving the icon related replies to a new topic.

Ok some non-icon issues. Perhaps we should split the thread? Don't know, it's up to the moderators... Also, if I can find some time, I may do some icons. I've wanted to try my hand at making some as close to the originals as possible.. or I may ...

I like how we are all getting in the spirit of this. I've said it before and I'll say it again--icons need contrast! :D When showing us progress on this, it would be really helpful to see the same icons at 32px also in order to get an idea of what it will look like in OS9 and in our docks. Thanks g...

I agree with your suggestions cuzog. They're not fine tuned yet, that's for certain. However, the black outline, i htink, will look rather good once it's not on a stark white background. The edge _does_ taper, but its harder to see, since you get all shades of the black, when its on a white backgro...

Here's a preview of the icon's I've been working on. The Fear Icon I've actually been using for several months now. http://hl.udogs.net/files....ing.png Gosh, those look nice too. :) Maybe, once we are done, we should put this to a vote! I like the choice of images for the icons and the parchment m...

http://www.xmgimg.com/uploads/404912d8ed.png It's difficult to communicate what I'm talking about without an example to show, so I went ahead and made a mockup: http://img363.imageshack.us/img363/5665/fearloathingicons6cu.png The texture map for loathing in the new icon simply does not have enough ...

http://www.xmgimg.com/uploads/2d967f6e9c.png Love the concept! Much more modern and eye catching. They should also scale down very well. Few things you might want to consider: - Still needs an indication that they are tools, otherwise they look like document icons. - The loathing map texture could ...

Thought someone might! Fitting screen-name, btw. :;):

Also, great idea on the 1.5.2 -> 1.5.1 fallback mode. That will surely help keep the online community afloat.

We're not planning to make Myth II a Universal Binary for the 1.5.2 release for several reasons. First off, while we do have a version of it building in Xcode, it hasn't been tested much yet, and the x86 build is also not complete. Also, it seems there's a small performance penalty with the Xcode b...

Awesome!!! Now we just need Amber to be ported and we'll be all set. Intel Macs aren't gonna run classic. :( ... For PPC OSX apps we have Rosetta for now, maybe universal binary later? Probably more important to get that for Myth and Loathing first anyway. Is Myth's code base is alread...
