TFL Start Game Problem

Heya,

I'm using Windows XP with 1 gig ram. I've got the fallen lords 1.3 patched game and I'm using the public beta 2 1.5 patch for rez and the 1 gig ram fix.

My problem is I can play and run the tutorial perfectly fine however when I try to start a new normal game the two intros start (the letter and video), the loading bar completes then the game returns to main menu.

I've tried not using the TFL 1.5 patch and using another fix for the problem of 1 gig ram however the same problem occurs.

Any ideas?

Also I have tried using OpenGL and Software rendering but none work.

this is what i get, i have win xp sp2 with a geforce 5200 and 512 RAM, i have never been able to play in this machine since i bought the total codex.
the screen flickers, the resolution changes and i get a black screen until i force quit the app.

CWolf ->Make sure you have a full install of TFL that has been patched to 1.3 then install the 1.5 update.

Jaylong-> Our log shows you are running the Myth II 1.5.1 app, if you are trying to run TFL make sure you install the TFL 1.5 update.

sorry, i see i posted to the wrong thread, the game i have is myth 2, so are the patches 1.5 and 1.5c. sorry again for the mistake

I have the 1.3 CD version of this game and then I use the 1.5 patch. I have even tried to patch the game to 1.3 after I've installed the CD and before installing the 1.5 patch from here.

Still no luck
