I just re-installed Myth II 1.3 from the Total Codex CDs and then duplicated the folder 4 times. I updated each one to significant changes (1.3.2, 1.4.3, 1.5, 1.5.1) testing Fear and Loathing in each one. Both Fear and Loathing seem to work fine in 1.5.1 now.
But, the Mac Fear lacks all the new options! I'm almost crying. Here I am not actually ready to restart Project: Uranus (the code name for now, heheh) due to a computer too slow to run a decent 3D app to make new units with, and I can't even practice with all the new tag options and flags 1.5.1 handles... *sob sob*
I beg of you, update Fear to support these new goodies! You don't even need to make it OS X native! It runs fine in Classis (and as slow as ever, heheh!). I'll even donate like $25 via PayPal. That's how much I love this game.
Anyway... Time to massage my girlfriend! Woo!
Fear working in 1.5.1! - After a fresh install, that is.
unfortunately, there's no updated version of fear for mac because the source for it is broken somehow (ask iron and he should be able to tell you).
there is, however, another tool in development somewhere that is supposed to replace fear on pc and mac, and will be 1.5.1 compatible.
now off to massage my girlfriend.

*toot*
Road, if you're talking about my crazy multiple installs thing, then don't worry: I've tossed everything except all the latest stuff. But I'm glad I did that - it's got Fear 1.2 working again and I've sort of re-organized my plugins based on their original names (I had renamed all of my plugins for some reason...).
I tell all my computer game playing co-workers and friends about Myth II. Some of them have never heard of it, but those that have are always shocked to hear it's still supported!
