TFL Beta 1.5 Thread
Ok Public Beta #2 of TFL 1.5 is up on the Project's page. The main addition is a longer expiration date and OpenGL for Windows. Also I built it with newer 3dfx libraries to see if that helps folks still using 3dfx cards.
Note: OpenGL under Windows may not work on all systems, it is meant to give Windows folks a possible hardware renderer. But as the Myth II version doesn't work on all computers I don't expect the TFL will work on all systems either.
When reporting OpenGL issues please note if Myth II in OpenGL works on your system also.

Ok all development work is now complete on TFL 1.5, I've updated the download archives. Your screen should now show Build 263 in the upper right when you start up. Please do not use any compatability flags on this update it has been updated to work on W2k & XP. If no bugs are found in the next 2 weeks, I will remove the expiration date and make a final build.
Please report any bugs via this thread here.
You can download the latest build using the links on the Projects->TFL 1.5 page.

You have to change the time on your computer to use this? Is that a joke? Why do you have to do this? I've been putzing around trying to get this damn thing to run for an hour and it turns out that it's intentional. What's the deal?

The idea is to make sure people get the latest beta, it wouldn't do to have people playing multiple version and reporting bugs due to lack of interoperability, or bugs that were fixed 3 versions ago. If the beta expires, we can be resonably sure that everyone has the latest version. Of course, that assumes that there IS a latest version, which seems to be the problem here.
Yeah, I'm a myth tfl junkie and honestly can't stand myth II or any of the other stuff. I have a few friends who have agreed to try out the classic game with the opengl patch, and now none of us can play at all. The worst part is that I can't even play the game singleplayer with opengl because of the same error message the other guys here mentioned. I'll try setting my computer back for the time being, but that's a pretty f'n lousy solution.
