OK, so files aren't there, but its got a lot of reviews and things that some people might like to see...
EDIT: Thought it might be handy for TheTain (if its gonna happen still)

I can't quite get anything there to work.. is it just that one page?
I got a reply from Clem not too long ago; I brought up the Mill in one of my emails but I don't know if he got the response to his reply so I'm still waiting around for any more news from his corner. If anyone knows for sure that he has it still or not, please let me know so I don't inquire to the wrong party about it.

He had it all backed up onto DVD. Blades decided to work on The Mill 2 (I made a post about that here a while back), didn't give us a lot of details. What I can get from word on the street is that Blades has those DVDs now. I don't know if its a copy of Clem's, or the originals.

So as I was perusing the Archive of the Mill I found the link to the forums and saw all the teasingly fascinating threads, but (of course) the posts were all gone. So, I was wondering, is there anyway to configure Ikonboard to crosspost forum messages to alt.games.myth? This way if PM ever goes away, it'll be archived forever by Google, or however else archives Usenet. All the posts could come from "ProjectMagma.net-forum" {$username} or something to prevent spam harvesting and maybe forum users could have an opt out check box in their profile.
And if anyone is actually still reading Usenet, there could be a little message in the signature like:
"This was posted in the Forums at Project Magma to join the discussion join us there." or something to let them know that responding to the post in Usenet isn't going to get to us.

I usually screenshot all the more interesting stuff I say/stuff people say to me.
Unfortunately, while I remembered to screenshot everyone's feedback for my maps at The Mill, I completely forgot to record the descriptions I wrote for each plug. (Things are lost to history now it seems).
Though I did check the Wayback archive for Mill stuff... and was chuffed to remember how many DL's Freedom 1 clocked! I always wanted to have Freedom 2 up there as well... but ah well.

Archive.org's Myth sites seem in worse condition than most sites they host, in my little experience. I found MWC2000 and MythDev on there, neither was great. Old Bungie.net sites like MythVault (and older) were great though...I'd forgotten about Ex-BNA Mordia's interrogation of the PMA

HAH you want funny Myth sites on archive.org...
Go look one up called Mythmaps.com. This was so long ago (for me) that I was still calling myself Bardyiae (not Zebonka, Kellogs or William Wallet) and I have this funny argument with this guy on the forums there.

Okay I got the models but now I'm too dumb to do anything with 'em
I'm not sure if I'm mistaken, but I think one of the magma guys may have cloned the entire mill site too. Inf mb? As a later reference for items from the tain... for matching up authors etc. Duno what status the tain is at now.... just needs major data entry i think.... correct me if i'm wrong oh knowledgable ones.

Magma's slowing down a little - we all know that. I'm not expecting TheTain, ever

I'd host it on uDogs hotline or on a photobucket account if I was you. They've never gone down when I've needed them, but TFV site's not 100% reliable like that.Graydon wrote:I noticed.... So is TFV homepage. Think there's a connection? (joking...i host my sig there):(
