Hi, I hope you can help me: I recently came back to Myth and am really getting back into it. The trouble is I cannot run the solo TFL plugin:

I'm running Myth II version 1.5.1c build 261 on a Mac. I activate The Fallen Levels plugin, then Shift start to get to the first level. It starts fine when I turn on Anti-clump, but when I activate TFL Gameplay it dumps me back to the menu. I don't know what version of the TFL plugin I have, but its modification date is 13 Sept 2003.

I'd love to revisit the full original experience, so any help would be massively appreciated.

Thanks.

Try it without turning on TFL Gameplay - I don't think the TFL solo plugin needs it.

You can also play Myth online with others still (incase you didn't know).

the fallen levels do require tfl gameplay to have tfl physics, etc..

what does myth_log.txt (in the same folder as the game itself) say?

OK, great, thanks.

I have to mention also that my Myth files have travelled across a set of CDs and at least two different hard drives before arriving on my current machine, so there may have been bits that got left behind or corrupted during the moves.

Maybe I need to reinstall something?

The log is here:

You seem to be missing at least one file. The "Patch 1.5 Unity" file. I think that's the only one you might be missing.

Err.... nevermind I say your post again... you have it. Hmm maybe you are right... you need a reinstallation.

before you try reinstalling, check your "local" folder. you probably have something in there that's causing the mismatches you're seeing.

this can happen if you've been playing in fear. therefore, if there's anything in the local folder you want to save (because you like it or you're still working on it) just rename the folder and myth will create a new one, or else delete the contents.
