Help! updating problems :s

Hi all!

I just got myth 2.
I install it and it is version 1.3 then.
But is it me or is it still buggy?
So i thought, i'll update it and it seems you guys are the place 2 be for that.

But i'm having problems updating myth!
Either it says, the beta has expired, or it says something like not all the required files could not be found, reinstall patch 1.51.

Can someone tell me what to do, step by step?
I fell so helpless...

Which operating system is this on?

Did you make sure the patch installed to the same directory as you installed Myth 2?

I had similar problem installing 1.51. and I think you have to install 1.5 patch first, but I don't know where you can find it. Maybe someone has got a link?

I'm running it on my laptop with Windows Xp professional.
It's just, it seems like i'm doing something wrong.
Yes i believe i tried that 1.6 beta you referred to. I think that was when it said that the beta wasn't valid anymore.
MAybe i should try it again?

so just patch the 1.6 from the tain over the 1.3 from the install?

Yes, try it again. It's likely it said the beta isn't valid anymore because the system clock on your computer is set in the future?

I tried it again...
Downloaded 1.6 from the tain and installed it over my 1.3 version

And guess what happens after i finish the patch and i klick on play myth 2?
"Could not find the required patch files. Please reinstall the 1.51 update"

So now what? reinstall and do what? :s please help!
What would you do if you freshle re-installed myth 2?

Eddaweaver didn't tell you that you have to install 1.5.1 before 1.6. It's on the downloads page. It contains patch files that you need for it to work. Grab it here.
