I haven't played in a long time, and am trying to get back in the groove for PlayMyth. I've gotten Soulblighter v1.6 installed, and I see there are some new entries in the preferences. Some of them are self-explanatory; others I wanted a little help with, and there doesn't seem to be any reference to them in detail or sometimes at all anywhere on here.
So.....
What is the function of the checkboxes for:
- Interface Transparency
- Reduce Renderer Load
- Use Persistent Ready (Multiplayer)
- TFL Style Gesture Arrows
- Disable Persistent Formations
Some enlightenment on these things please!
Newish Preferences
Interface Transparency makes the bar on the top and bottom transparent like the overhead maps are.
Use Persistent Ready (Multiplayer) is so when you are in a game you don't have to recheck after the game ends. It will make it permanent no matter if the host makes a change in the game or if the game ended and a next round will start. But another way to do it without making this default is holdint Shift while you check in. This will give you the same persistent ready but only in this host until you leave, you get booted, or you uncheck.
Disable Persistent Formations... I think this one will do what TFL did. In TFL you had to do the formation for your units again but in SB you don't unless you have this checked in.
I'm not sure of the others. Only an idea.
