Make sure your local folder is empty.

A custom formations file inside the appropriate folder. Don't tell me I gotta dump my forms, that can't be it.

Try it, just don't delete them. Take them out of the local or rename the local. I doubt it is that, but who knows.

Did you save these games using an older build of Myth 2? If so, there's your explanation.

What OS you on? What version and build of Myth II are you on? What is in your local folder? What does your myth_log say after you try loading a saved game?

Uhhh...I'll try loading a saved game later. But I can tell you I'm on 1.6 build 290 (the final), and on Windows XP.
