"Marathon On The PlayStation
Slashdot is reporting an "explosion" of emulators running under Yellow Dog Linux on the Sony Playstation 3.
What does that have to do with Bungie?
Because with Linux running on the PS3, you can install Aleph One on it and play Marathon."
I remember that there was linux version of Myth 2 ( LOKI ? ). Does that mean that ps3 can handle Myth SB?
...proly not...

The LOKI source code has been lost afaik, but if we were ever to port Myth to Linux again, it should theoretically be able to be compiled on the PS3 without problems. The machine is easily powerful enough to run Myth, if only in software rendering.

Won't work on the PS3 since its not X86. It's PowerPC.

You guys are overthinking things, just make a C64 text adventure of Myth.
Okay I got the models but now I'm too dumb to do anything with 'em

Lets see if one of us could qualify as an astronaut go on the next space mission, play myth in space, create a new advertising buzz campaign about it and then... port it to play station 3.
Seriously lets just get what were working on done
however these are great ideas.

You are outdoors. There are rolling hills with few trees. There is a bird here staring at you. You hear mumbling to the west.

> look north
To the north you see an arched stone bridge crossing a deep stream. Two armoured warriors are scrambling off the bridge, apparently in a state of alarm. Shadows move under the water.

As you descend into the crypt, ghostly apparitions form in the gloom. Half-seen myrkridia charge a flickering line of archers, who shoot arrows that look strangely real. As the battle is joined suddenly the combatants dissolve into falling dust, and in the silence rings an echo of hollow, manic laughter.
