body appearing opposite way in soft death
Re: body appearing opposite way in soft death
Carl, observing your latest post, I'd suggest trying one unit with 1.0 left handed fraction and test it, now that you've altered it from 1 view 8 frames, to 1 frame 8 views, I have a hunch the death will be properly mirrored now if a unit is left handed. Worth a test.

cool, I'll try that, thanks Gray!
Re: body appearing opposite way in soft death
Hey Carlinho, I had same problem while trying to implement pregame narrations as ingame sounds. Every single time narrations dissapeared @ random after a duff bottle explosion or "casualty" snd etc. etc.carlinho wrote:thanks, also I had a problem with some sounds, when several sounds are played at the same time they "disappear" and there's a silence left....
I checked the can use different channels thing....and cannot be restarted, but still they go silent...never happened before though...
Ive been looking for a solution for a long time... and it was quite simple. Nota bene that "Mazz song" in Mazz IV never dissapears - no matter how many bottle explode or other sounds are played...
Set your dissapearing sounds loudness from "Quiet, Normal or Loud" to "Narration" and they should not dissapear never again. Not 100% sure about it - but it worked well for me : )

No, I've heard when the mazz intro song does get cutoff. It just requires a lot.
Re: body appearing opposite way in soft death

Re: body appearing opposite way in soft death
you won't believe how stupid I was.
somehow when I exported the sounds to myth specs the audio program created a silence of 1 sec after the actual sound.
so the sound played and until it started again, there was a silence....
I went freaking nuts trying to figure what it was until I opened one in a sound editing software and I discovered that.
I still think there's problems with some, specially when there's a big battle.
But I couldn't reproduce it again...
Once I go into testing with the plug and there's a big battle we'll check that.
and the first thing we'll do if it happens is change the sound setting to narration
thanks man!!!!
