plugin, Freedom 2: The east

Post by kingthrall »

ive been trying to find a usable version of this plugin. The only site ive managed to find it on was Myth Addicts. Its an old plugin and the one on myth addicts and Udogs are from a corrupt file. The game is full of laughs and is good to play let me know if anyone can upload it here on a working zip file or direct a url to me.

what program are you using to expand it, i tried stufit but it doesnt work.

I dont use mac, and i am confused to why someone would use such a stupid file type to compress the plugin.

Years ago, the SIT format wasn't that difficult to deal with. It was common for Macs to have a program to create them and the Windows program was free. Then later it was no longer free and it became less common. Zip format won within the Myth community.

"Freedom" is based on the movie "Braveheart" OK ?!
talking about the movie, my favorite character is Stephen. An Irish recruits to the Scottish army. very cool with his phrases: "my island" or before the battle: "- The Lord says I will go out of this mess, but you do not! and is all your fault! AH-AH-AH"

"i am confused to why someone would use such a stupid file type to compress the plugin"

Going back a couple of years, I think my rationale at the time was that the .sit file was smaller than the .zip file. Believe it or not, I was actually trying to do people a favour!

Anyway, thanks Myrd for putting the zips up!
Okay I got the models but now I'm too dumb to do anything with 'em

I wonder what makes a file type 'stupid'.

""Freedom" is based on the movie "Braveheart" OK ?!"

That's where most of the impetus came from, because one of my younger nephews used to love Braveheart.
There's actually a lot of references to a ton of other crap in there - Highlander, Queen, assorted junk. The whole thing is a massive in-joke.
