William,
oh yes. I agree.
many films have, perhaps, a hidden message, a political message.
we have to have discernment to separate the entertainment of these crap.
however, the plugins Freedom 1 and 2, I found it very fun to play.
plugin, Freedom 2: The east

That's most kind of you!
The plugins really are a mess. I made a patch to fix a crashing issue with Freedom 2, but lost it in a hard drive crash. It's been so long since I did any mapmaking that I can't remember the bug or how to fix it.
Oops!

Okay I got the models but now I'm too dumb to do anything with 'em

Willian,
I liked the images of the pregame / postgame. although simple, but was very well drawed and made to give understanding about the game's storyline.

I just want to say a thank you for making this awesome plugin again , cause I love the sheer funniness of the children's voices and the simple designed drawings like the kings head on a pike in freedom 1.William Wallet wrote:That's most kind of you!

That's very kind! They were done using a very old, very unreliable iMac mouse (the ugly round ones from 1998) so it was basically impossible to draw anything good. These days, I would've scanned something in or drawn it using a WACOM tablet.

Very generous of you! It doesn't come close to measuring up to my favourite stuff (Ephor of Myrgard, 1861) but I really had fun putting it together. I always wanted to make a 'proper' plugin but life got in the way of that.

Hey Sir William,
I posted some plugins in Tain, but I admit that playability and story are very basic.
I wanted to have the creativity to make a 'proper' story and make a plugin notorious for players to play several times. unfortunately, I did not have a good idea until now.
I have a project on the march: a plugin single-player . Not a problem to do the :
- programming / music * sounds / images pregame and postgame, parameterizations.
etc. is only difficult to make a good storyline.

Ha! I guess it's difficult, but I enjoy it. Writing is a great way to waste time, I reckon

Re: plugin, Freedom 2: The east
Great plugins, William Wallet. I've been able to play Myth again recently and I've played your two Freedom plugins multiple times.
I agree with kingthrall that the child's voice for Solomon the Knight is hilarious. I was wondering why the sizes of Solomon and Bolanfui were so much smaller than the other heroes--then I read your readme and understood they were meant to represent their real-life, undersized counterparts. Solomon's introduction and drawing for his secret level were also hilarious.
The cavalry unit in your second plugin has become one of my favorite units; the unit fits right in with the other Myth units and the charging ability suits the unit really well.
It's too bad the second (or was it third?) level in Freedom II keeps crashing. Do you have a fix for that level? I believe it was the training academy level.

Is it a hard crash to the desktop or just back to the main menu?ThreeTigerSilverWind wrote: It's too bad the second (or was it third?) level in Freedom II keeps crashing. Do you have a fix for that level? I believe it was the training academy level.

It is a hard crash to the desktop. I'll post the crash log here:Myrd wrote:Is it a hard crash to the desktop or just back to the main menu?ThreeTigerSilverWind wrote: It's too bad the second (or was it third?) level in Freedom II keeps crashing. Re: plugin, Freedom 2: The east
Off the top of my head, it's an action in the scripting that causes it. It doesn't crash on the Mac (PowerPC) version because there's a difference in the debugging or some such .. can't remember now. I patched it, but the patch is lost to a hard drive crash.
