I'm back! Just a quick hello...

Post by Earl Grey »

Hello Myth people,
I used to play Myth a lot before my daughter was born in '95, and only sporadically since. My buddy in Boston and I would connect and play into the wee hours. Such good times!
I came back today on a whim after years of inactivity, and after reading the posts I'm more driven than ever to re-install, update, and get playing again! I've never enjoyed a game as much!! You'll be hearing more from me soon... :)
I only wish I had the skills to help test and code. But I will certainly do my best to keep the game alive by generating more fans!
Thank you so very much to the people who have worked so hard against great adversity to keep Myth going!

I played tonight! :)
It had been so long that I watched the tutorial again just for fun. :)
Found it strange that I put my fingers on the right keys automatically... :D
It's making my old iMac (circa 2007) act wonky a bit, but holy cow am I happy to be playing again!

Oh and whoever created that installer for 1.7.2 should a Nobel prize! It was so fast and easy! Wow!
Thank you all!!

Man I am gonna miss a lotta sleep this fall...

Wonky how? Perhaps altering the preferences might yield better results. What version of OSX you on and which build of 1.7.2 did you install the OSX or Classic? I know the name should imply which one you got, but the Classic one can also run on some early versions of OSX.

If you go to your Myth II folder and look for your myth_log, copy/paste its contents here to get some info on what might be causing the game to act up for you.
