I definitely think a second beta should be put out. Putting out a final this quickly will inevitably lead to further bugs being discovered after the fact and then it will be 1.8.0 all over again with different versions.

Fyi, the download is not completing for me. I end up with the zip.part but the download is finished. Is there an alternate host available? I'd love to upgrade from 1.8.0.

works for me, you probably have a flaky connection, just try the download again or use a resumable download manager

This dl is quite literally the only thing not working on my end. Torrents, ftps, streaming, etc.

The mac installer downloads fine. Only the windows one isn't working.

I am having the same issue as wwo when i try to download update. However when I first tried downloading it was working then my anti-virus kicked on 3/4 of the way through the download saying Win32:Evo-gen malware was detected and the connection was cut. I thought maybe it was a false positive so I tried it again and now I get the same message as wwo is getting.
