Myth II 1.8.1 Public Beta 2
Project Magma is proud to announce that the second official public beta of Myth II version 1.8.1 is now available.
This update contains a number of fixes for issues in the original 1.8.1 beta and we hope it should be very close to what the final release of 1.8.1 will look like. The list of changes since public beta 1 is provided here: Changes_1.8.1_beta2.txt
Myth II 1.8.1 is an incremental update over Myth II 1.8, providing improved support for modern operating systems (e.g. HiDPI/Retina display support) and various bug fixes and improvements.

NOTE - Aug.23, 2016: The installers were found to contain an incorrect version of "Patch 1.8 Interface". The windows installer has been updated, but for other versions, or if you already downloaded: Please get this file and place it into your plugins folder to fix the crash on the control preference screen.

Had a strange OOS game. I started the game without being on a team (no units, not listed with f7), couldn't see my own chat but host could. After rehost I was in the game lobby but not visible, could chat but name was blank.

I've updated the windows installer, but the mac and linux installers will still have the old file for now.

When I try to open the game after installing this second beta, my antivirus program deletes the application and says it is a virus (I use Panda Free Antivirus). With my antivirus on, I can only enter the older version, which works OK. By turning the antivirus off, I can also use the new public beta. I suppose it has something to do with the firewall, but I'm not really sure what could be done for me to be able to play 1.8.1 without turning off my antivirus program. Any suggestions?

Can you add an exclusion rule so it doesn't scan your myth folder?

During the game, when I want to select all units clicking in "enter" not work ... in "Preferences" / "controls" is already set "Select all = enter"

Windows 7 professional versão 6.1
it worked in myth 1.8.0 Perhaps the problem now be in my myth folder. because,
I did a test myth 1.8.1.beta in a other myth folder (a back up) and it work normal.
I will reinstall the myth, perhaps bug is in my current myth folder .

Using windows 10 and 2560x1440 monitor.
Problem #1:
I play with HD resolution (1280x720) on WQHD monitor.
Works fine in 1.8.0 build 427b.
but in latest 1.8.1 beta build 432 screen messed
Problem #2:
In both version,with automatic window mode, game doesn't start in fullscreen (only menu and lobby). So I need to alt+enter every game.
Using windows 10 and 2560x1440 monitor.
