So here's the story. I like fiddling with single player mode in loathing. After a couple of years I decided to put Myth 2 on my computer again. Everything running smooth, but I go bored so I messed with the first and second levels using Loathing. Now I cannot start a new game. The "new game" button at the top of the menu is blanked out.
I have tried numerous times to uninstall, reinstall, return the maps to normal, update to v1.5 etc. with no luck. I even went back and edited the tutorial in the same manner with no ill results. The tutorial still works.
Im not very advanced in the map modding field, the only changes I made to the maps was the # of enemies. I dont understand how I could have so royally screwed myself.
Suggestions?

Well, since you have already uninstalled and reinstalled, try these 2 things:
1) When you uninstall amke sure you delete the Myth 2 folder on your hard drive.
2) Run regedit and delete any references to Myth or Bungie. Be warned- if you have Myth 1 or Halo installed you may hose them.
I would mention Oni but I doubt anyone has that installed.
