I agree Muzzy, this HAS been a failing on our behalf, however, you incessant "yawns" and "tick-tocks" just rubbed me the wrong way. Sorry.

Well i finally got the whole collection and to tell you the truth i was fonded of myth tfl when it came out the demo, but i never had the chance to play the full version, and now that i have it,, i just hope you guys make a nice installer and playable release of the 1.5... patch, because ive been testing your soulblighters release, and i gotta say its pretty damn good, hope to hear more from you guys at projectmagma, and long live the world of Myth. Real Medieval Strategy ====> :D

As an update i finally got everything working up to the latest patches,,,and i want to report a few things....is there any way you guys could make opengl work in fullscreen mode ( it looks really great quality ),,,cause i can't get rid of the damn task bar, which bothers me every time i want to scroll, and makes gameplay slower too ( tell me some way to get rid of it or make it fullscreen mode, cause i'm a bit noobish on this )...this problem doesn't appear in soulblighter, but in soulblighter after loading several times the same game, it crashes in every way and sometimes takes forever to load,,,maybe because of the extensive body piling lol, like in gonens bridge, i killed every little bastard without suffering casualties in legendary mode, and i noticed, every time i slaughtered more and more undead bastards, the game kept taking more time to load ( of course maybe it's just because the game has to load more graphic frames ),,, and i'm using win98se, with an ati radeon, i haven't noticed anything else,,,======> :-) Thanks in advance.

Got a word at last.

Windows 1.5 Installer

This is a test windows installer. There are no planned changes to the installer unless someone finds a bug.

Note:The application is finaland has been June. The installer itself is a test version that needs more testing. Now it won't delete for hard drive or anything like that but I could use some feedback on anything it does do wrong.

CIK-
First of all thanks for all of your hard work in keeping Myth alive.

The installer worked great for me. I tried it on a fresh install of Myth TFL 1.3 from CD and it worked fine. Running Win XP sp 2.

Wow! I knew the graphics were gonna be better, but I never imaged they would be this good. I think they're better than m2 graphics. Maybe, its just how much better they are over the previous tfl units. Had to get used to the controls of tfl althogh, no right mouse button face direction click or middle mouse button preset switch. :(

Good job guys, this should bring back some tflers, I hope!

Actually you are just seeing the graphics that where always there. It's just the only people who could see them in the past where folks with 3dfx cards. Not being forced into 640x480 rez helps a bit also. You are correct the units are better then m2, in m2 they made the animation of the units smoother but to keep it playable on low end systems they cut down the resolution of the units. A bad choice I'd have to say after playing TFL in it's full glory.

Agreed, I was always amazed how great tfl looked on a 3dfx card.

I'll dl it as soon as I can, sounds really nice and worth all the time it's taken. I hear that like M2 1.5.1, it's the last planned update from Magma [other than for compatibility with new systems]. Sounds like TFL Dev is goin out with a bang.

Note that how to hack the expiration date was posted earlier in this thread. While a little annoying, it does seem to work.

Not sure you are aware but the Myth TFL update has been released, so there's no real need to hexedit the old app, that is unless you like hexediting :)

Where? I get no files returned from

http://projectmagma.net/cache/projects/3.html
which is the only link I've found for TFL

Hi, the listed link is quite dead, and there seems to be no website hosting it at the moment...
is there a possibility of you guys hosting the file? if not, than e-mail it?

thanks, great job on the myth project
