But i dont believe it is necessary, because have nothing specificing about that dont can use the stuff of site or some similar like this.

About the units, 80% of the units of plug is avaliable in someone website for download (mythaddicts, udogs etc) It no need permission if the stuff is available for download and agreed by the author.

Available for Download, but not always use in your own work. Ask. Its courtesy.

No really, because it i said "80% units", must of map makers that i extract the unit of plug no play myth actually, is hard may permission for somebody that is hardest the contact or i dont have it, if i had it my for all, the project stop complety or i finish it in 10 years.

Also you need to CREDIT PEOPLE in readmes usually. I believe the sites they were on probably have that written somewhere.

Its the 'thanks to _____ for letting me steal his ________ unit' that is more important than asking for permission in most cases.

i imagine using anything from the movies will be a problem... the lotr game and the movies probably have a legal department for just such a thing.. so i would at least run a photo shop filter over the images...

as for units... creiditing the right people is important... as for permision most would love to see thier stuff put to good use the only potential problem I see is the 7th god stuff be sure you get some kinda ok to use from the reminents of creation or someone else that has permision to use them.

I think that as long as you TRY to contact the authors of the items you are using AND GIVE THEM CREDIT for what they made you have made a reasonable effort.

Also, I know the sentence isn't complete, but in the flavor text for the "King Sorcerer" the sentence "The Ring gave to be able to it, in exchange for the soul, with it's sword cursed for the ring, enlisted the savages trolls in favor..." doesn't really make any sense. I have a rough idea what it means because I know what the nazgul are, but from that sentence alone I wouldn't be able to tell at all.

Maybe something got chopped out when you were cutting and pasting the text?

I agree the King Sorcerer's flavors dont make sense,
i dont know how i translate it for English for that make any sense, but i can do it in portugueses and spanish languages, if somebody know it.

The TSG stuff is on MythAddicts. As long as people are credited or something you can use them...I don't know details TZ has some deal with Clem or something.

I can't see Newline Cinema caring. Fans did a free LOTR mod for Rome: Total War, find out what they did I guess :\

Its not a complicated deal. Before Clem went AWOL I asked if I could host his stuff free for people to use in any myth related projects. He said sure as long as they give credit to Creation.

Yes the units of TSG is very nice.
Recenty i made a map about unit of 2 greats camp solo in combat multiplayer. it is in the playmyth in list of recent maps.

It is TSG VS Chimera Combat.

The TSG Vs Chimera Combat is a plug of units of Chimera tag vs TSG tag in the maps gimble, desert, float, Creep and others, in combats multiplayer in 2 team maps or FFA.
