I agree with Baak's idea regarding categories.

New, Based on Previous Work
coop and multi maps.
Two months is barely enough to do a solo justice at all, unless its already half finished, and in that regard there's no way to tell if someone's already worked on stuff beforehand so it'd be counter-productive to try & prevent it. Obviously the submissions would need to be new.
I think the unfinished stuff Iron, Me and Im guessing Fury are referring to would be TFV, Greek Plug, the new WW2. If you pit any of these against any other plugs but themselves, because it's so new its more than likely going to win. Gameplay would already be different with all units not to mention they look superb. My point is, it provides less motivation for new mappers (or at least me), who say have nothing or very little to want to enter the contest.

That is of course assuming those plugs can get done, assuming this contest happens.

If it happens, and solo maps are allowed, I'm in.

Sounds like team efforts are ok too? There are a lot of skills involved in making a Myth map, and at least two people is ideal for a really strong submission.

Also, maybe this meta-thread should be split off?
