I'm running Mac OS 10.2.8, installing from clean through a CD. The message reads:

"There were errors installing the software" followed by "Please try installing again."

No such luck, I get the same message each time I try to install.

Don't run the installer. Just make a Myth II folder somewhere and copy the tags folder from the CD over to it. Then run the 1.5 updater, and you should have a working install of Myth :)
