Hi,
The other day my mulitplayer games would get to around the 2:00 remaining mark, and then run at 16x until the timer ran out and then exit the game. This happened multiple games. The films show nothing except all of the units standing still. I posted on the playmyth forums about this problem, but I received no reply. Here is my thread: http://www.playmyth.net/index.php?name= ... pic&t=5145
I am not longer experiencing this problem, but I do not feel it is adequate to just sweep it under the rug and forget about it. This was never a problem in previous versions of Myth 2, or at least the ones that Bungie produced. I have talked with others, and they, too, have experienced this.
Thank you, and I hope you can fix this problem, or at least provide an explanation for this bug that has been created. If I should fill out a bug report, please direct me to where I should do that as I saw no instructions for doing that. I do think most of the things you have done with the Myth series are good, and I thank you for that.
Latest version of Mac OS X

Are you running 1.5.1 or one of the beta builds of 1.5.2?

That doesn't answer the question. Open Myth2 and in the main menu what does it say in the top left corner in white text?
Since 1.5.2 is still not officially finished (i think, not sure) it might not be on PMnet anytime soon. Go to http://thetain.net to download the latest 1.5.2 beta. You need 1.5.1 installed first, and don't worry 1.5.2 is compatible with 1.5.1 so you can still play with others.

This 16x thing was a cheat a few script kiddies used in multiplayer games in the old days. I haven't heard of it happening for quite a while.

how does that not answer the question?
"Since 1.5.2 is still not officially finished (i think, not sure) it might not be on PMnet anytime soon." *bangs head on keyboard*. Wowezz. You've hit the nail on the forehead (I DO NOT HAVE 1.5.BETAxxx)

There's no way playmyth would have 1.5.2 yet, so its obvious he has 1.5.1.
Also, if its not listed as fixed in the 1.5.2 beta (which I don't believe it is) then recommending he download it for this bug isn't really helpful. Dwarfy thanks for reporting the problem, and please let us know if its happening regularly. As Edda says above it is an old bug that was deliberately exploited in the past. If its occurring too often and can be replicated then the dev guys can look at implementing a fix.

Oh I see, now people can't make mistakes around here without you getting upset ( ) . I don't go on to the PMnet site... rarely only. One mistake and your branded for life. Calm down.

Dwarfy, why don't you just use 1.5.1 available on the downloads page...? 1.5.1 is the latest "official"/PM.net compatible incarnation of 1.5.1. Is 1.5.1 compatible with PM?
Also, Dwarfy, in my experiences with communities, you won't usually get the answers you want by being tactless and impatient and generally not very nice.

Yeah Lugas, he seems to have 1.5.1 from PMnet. Besides if he didn't he wouldn't be able to play with other people on PMnet unless they all had the same update as him.

I'm suggesting getting it from the Downloads page on this site... not PM.

there's no point. 1.5.1 is 1.5.1 regardless of where you download it from.
