I posted this over on the pm.net forums too.
Rather than typing it all out again i'll just link:

This is kinda a big issue as it breaks unit trading.

intel iMac with 10.4.7

Apparently, there is a problem with the Delta (10.4.6 to 10.4.7) updater for Intel Macs that isn't present in the Combo Updater that's related to OpenGL. Apple will be posting a fix shortly. Apparently, Blizzard informed its WOW players to use the Combo update for this specific reason. This problem might be related to it, or might not be. Not sure what can be done, it seems its Apple's bug, not ours...

It definitely doesn't affect PPC Macs. I don't know what else to tell you ... use software mode for now, and hopefully either we or Apple can come up with something to fix it...

Apparantely the combo updater can be applied on top of the delta update and that fixes the problem for WoW. I tried applying the combo updater but this problem is still there

Myrd, are you sure this doesn't effect PowerPCs? I'm being "pressured" by Apple to update. So if I do update, Myth 2 will still be okay? Also, if you're running Myth 2 on an Intel iMac , how does Myth 2 run on it? Just out of curiosity...

I've talked to people who've run the update on ppc macs and it hasnt affected the game at all. I cant say much as for how myth runs on ppc macs on 10.4.7 but i can say that they've done something to rosetta or something cause on my intel mac performance is up hugely. I've gone from 20fps to 80 and i can now actually chat in the lobby without huge lag.

Nice to hear about the enhanced performance!

Rest assured, we are investigating the dialog problems and hope to get it resolved ASAP...

Hmmm...
I wonder: If Apple decide to bring another update because other games are affected and they called it 10.4.8, would that drag Myth 2 down to the crap performance that it used to have on Intel...?

I have a uploaded a build of 1.5.2 that may fix this issue.

Can you download it and test if it works, and let me know? Thanks.

First off, lemme say thanks. It's very playable now. :)
The only issues I've noticed is that the find player button doesn't find anyone now (build 280) and there is slight input lag in-game (similar to but not as bad as Myth 3.

It's not what I'd call bad at all. Also, the camera movement seems a tad slower, but I can adjust that manually anyway, so no big deal.

Overall, nice job. :)

Thanks!
