If you could describe more of your situation that would be great...
Such as:
Do you own a full copy of Myth II? Those installers only update the program, they aren't the full application. Do you have Myth II installed already? What version of Myth II do you have right now? Did you download the XP or the OS X updater? What system are you using?

Install the patch:
http://projectmagma.net/downloads/myth2_151
Make sure you install the patch to the same directory as M2 is in. If you've installed it and it still says Bungie.net, click on "Servers" in Multiplayer and try setting it to PlayMyth.net Classic and "Save".
You'll need to register an account to play on Playmyth.net if you haven't already.

After you install the 1.5.1 update, remember to delete your preferences (all of them to be safe...) from the local folder (don't delete the local folder...), that should fix your Bungie.net problem. Also, did you do a Full Install or a Small Install? If you did a Small Install you'll need to insert the CD to play single-player.
Another thing, make sure you have all the right plugins in your Plugins folder...you should have:
1.2 Patch (don't think this one is necessary...don't quote me on that though.)
1.3 Patch
1.4 Patch
1.4 Unity
1.4 Interface
1.5 Patch
1.5 Unity
1.5 Interface
PlayMyth 1.2.1
PMI_(Classic, WW2, Blue, Red, Green, Etc...)
Those are the basic ones you need to run Myth II properly.

Patch 1.2 is necessary. Patch 1.4 Unity is not, however.
As for the Servers button, it is inactive when you are not at the metaservers screen. So first, click on the Bungie.net logo (it will select the Metaserver portion of the multiplayer dialog), THEN click on Servers... and select a flavour of PlayMyth.
