I haven't been able to get sound to work on OS X 10.4.8, on an Intel MacBook, with either 1.5.1 or 1.6.
The soundsystem otherwise works as expected.
Is this a known bug? Hopefully with a known workaround? I'm surprised that no one else has hit this issue, but I couldn't find it in a forum search.
Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the help!
I admit that I had some confusion on getting 1.6 installed, so I blew everything away and did a fresh install of 1.5.1--using your "Myth II Installer.mpkg" included in the Myth2_151.dmg. I provided my own (original) Soulblighter CD.
Everything installed normally, but 1.5.1 will play but still no sound.
The Audio Output setting is 44100; I never have changed it, but did confirm that it was set to that.
In game volume preferences are set to the max level, and ambient sounds and subtitles are on. Subtitles work normally. Changing these settings doesn't seem to have an effect.
Should 1.5.1 work just as well as 1.6? If not, I can try that again (and I'll provide notes on the attempt). Or is there a log file of the install you'd care to examine?
Thanks for the help! This is really one of my favorite games of all time, and I'm glad that you've put in the effort to make it work with an OS that's nearly a decade newer!
