Or are they different programs/discs? Seems some of the eBay listings say they run on both. I'm running Tiger and want to make sure I get the right one.

I think Myth 2 CDs were indeed working on both Mac and PC. However, if you don't have Classic or Mac OS 9: you should get the OS X installer
right here.
Then, if you like, you can get Myth 2 1.6
here.
1.6 contains OS X compatible versions of Fear and Loathing, the Myth 2 tag and mesh editors.

should a seperate link be made available to the OSX installer perhaps? People may not wish to download all of 1.5 to install on osx, only to then download 1.6, or (like me not long ago) had to reinstall myth but had the patch allready, so i went to find the installer and it took me forever before i figured i needed to download the update that i allready had to install myth

So you're saying we should put up an _extra_ file to download, and it would be _less_ confusing?

And so how does this work then, exactly - say I have a copy of Myth 2 in my hands, and have downloaded the os X installer - what then?

im not sure myrd, i just found it difficult to find when i tried thats all
bkik: im pretty sure this is how it works from memory, someone correct me if I am wrong.
Insert the myth 2 cd and open up the osx installer, then follow the instructions. Once it is installed, run the 1.5 updater, and you'll be good to go. Then if you wish you can download and instasll the 1.6 updater
