Hi, i'm installing Myth after 4 years now to play it again, so i don't know is this is a common problem cuz' last time i remember the game running just fine. When i start the game it shows the intro movie, the map and the cut scene, but the game itself wont start, it send me to the main menu again. I've tried the tutorial and it worked just fine, but when i go for the real deal, it just reset to the main menu. I've just download it from emule since i have lost my original copy and i want to play it badly so please, if eanyone can help me out i will be very gratefull. Thanx!

First of all its TFL not TLF... second maybe its a corrupt copy. Did you update it to 1.5? You can buy a real working copy in eBay for a few dollars.

Please try to start a game, and after it crashes, close the game and open the myth_log.txt in the Myth TFL folder and post its contents here.

hmmm... probably the problem occurs with downloaded copies.
But I remember that I had the same problem with my old 1998year CD when I tried to play it few years ago... so maybe this is not the cause

I have finally found my old CD and it works fine. So the problem above is just about corrupted version of Myth, nothing more.

I have to wonder whether the corruption was intentional or not. e.g. What suprises might you have unintentionally installed on your computer?
That's why it's important to always practice safe downloading and use only legit copies of software.

I found yesterday my original Myth TFL CD, and installed it to play again (fuck yeah!!).
But i get the exact same error maxapero and manger.
Patched with 1.5, and i get the same log error as manger.
And its not downloaded form emule or anything, its the original CD i bought years ago ;__;

Maybe the CD is too scratched... perhaps retry installing and updating and see if it works.
