Hotline Client 1.8.5 problem

I know, maybe it isn't quite about Myth, but it is connected :)

When I'm connected to hl.udogs by this hotline client (1.8.5) it shows me after one or two minutes something like this: "An unknown error has occured ID 1/1" or this: "An unknown transport related error has occured" and then my hotline client crashes :(

What should I do? I read it's documentation already and there is something about first message. But I've done everything what is written there (antivir scan, defrag and re-installing hotline client) and it didn't help. In addition I have no idea what should I do with the second message?

Any ideas? I know many of you are using hotline client and I hope you can help me. Thanks.

It is most likely to be your ISP. Polish ISPs are very likely to employ traffic-shaping.

If you're on a Mac you could try Frogblast. Don't know if its innard are much different than Hotline though.

I'm not on Mac.

It's strange I think, cause I haven't got any problems with Internet when usually using Internet Explorer or Mozilla.

So, should I try another version of HC? And if so, where I can get it?

This 1.2.3 version seems to be working properly :D , but I'm prejudiced against HC after those crashes and I'm not buoyant. Thanks.
