You looking for tags or just the collection? If you own the Myth TFL cd, or have it installed, you should have access to the TFL Mahir with a little help from untag and amber.

I am looking for all tags associated with the tfl mahir, and Unfortunately I do not have a mac, so I am unable to use amber or the tfl extraction utilities.

I don't think there were any other tags associated with it. It was an unimplemented unit--one of several in TFL, actually, and I think the only one of those with tags was the Skrael.
You can get the collection a little more easily by extracting it from Freedom 2. But if you extract the rest of their tags, remember that you'd be getting a specific person's version--you might want to make your own set, and if you don't, remember you're borrowing and give credit.

UnTag should be able to extract the tags you need - it comes in Mac and Windows flavors.

There is a Windows TFL extraction utility called Myth Packer.

Find info about it and other TFL tools and even a few links
here.

Alot of people post here looking for something and get a link right to it, but that hasn't happened here because A-Red is right.
There are no obviously connected tags involving this unit besides the sprites themselves. And the sprites, honestly, suck:
a mugshot
a black sheet ghost coming up from the ground
a black sheet ghost flying in circles
a creepy guy growing from the ground, just standing there
They have no useful moving sequences, which is why a good unit hasn't been made from it.
Oogabooga messed with it awhile back, adding some sprites by cutting and pasting (like he did with Balor when he gave him harddeath body parts). Oog added a "idle" sequence where the creepy standing guy turns its head.
From old Bungie lore: Bungie wanted to make a level in TFL where you would be attacked by invincible units, and only after you grabbed an artifact would you be safe. Of course it fell through for technical limitations or budget reasons. [/list]

Couldnt one just use amber to splice m2 mahir movement frames with m1 mahir attack frames? or perhaps just use a local projectile group to simulate the shadow on the ground?
By the way, a while back (and just again recently) I had posted about having a list of as many new non-standard collections as possible (and in what plugin they could be found) made so that mapmakers could more easily find resources and obtain permissions. Vinalrake had told me that you had made such a list. Any chance of me getting my hands on that?

Yes, you can tag an LPGR for that to work.
Other question on the units list, check here:
http://projectmagma.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=16362
Scroll down for a later short list of updates to that list.
That is the thread, and below is the thread where I talked it out beforehand with contributors to my list:
http://projectmagma.net/forum/viewtopic ... sc&start=0
The list has only changed a tiny bit since the last update to the former link. It seems it will never be complete, but I sure love trying...

I think the TFL Mahir is seen in
Freedom II.
If that is too slow, (Freedom 2 is a huge file) then try downloading it from the uDogs hotline; there is an option to download it from there on the provided page. It's in the last and 2nd last levels I think.
You can then use Untag and
Chaos to extact it.

I have the Freedom 2 collection, and have made a working unit, its actually rather nice. I am trying to implement via scripting the idea of the invincible shadow turning into the vulnerable creepy guy when the artifact is used.
I also am looking for the pc version of UnTag because it looks like some frames werent used in the sequences for the freedom 2 mahir.
