hey, i read somewhere that some ppl with laptops with integrated graphcis chipsets basically will not b able to run TFL 1.5 on opengl (as it is with me, when i try to run it with opengl, all i get is a black screen whenever a level finishes loading). i tried to changing resolution and changing my desktop resolution and nothing works (except changing it back to software rendering). Has anyone found a solution to this? Or will i just have to wait till 1.6 (or just never b able to run it on opengl at all :( )

I doubt there will be a TFL 1.6 seeing as not many people play it these days. You could try playing the Myth II plugin "The Fallen Levels" which are the TFL levels ported to Myth II.

so there's no solution to the black screen problem with the current version?

I am not qualified to answer that. :) But I suppose you tried updating your video card drivers, changed the laptop's resolution, and that's all I can think of.

You can complain to your laptop's manufacturer that the laptop sucks at OpenGL. I don't think TFL will be updated any time soon....

Or you can play TFL like most people played it back in the day - using software mode....
