Next limit question - map actions

When I look at the Mesh Limits in Loathing it shows that there's 1024 map actions limit. Is it true? Can I really make 950 actions for example and have no problems? I'm asking, because I think I read somewhere that there shouldn't be more than 700 actions in a map.

1024 is the 1.6 limit. It used to be 700. It's hard to imagine a level that really needs more than 700 actions, but apparently it can be done now.

Well, I'm not sure if my level 'really needs' more than 700 map actions, but it will propably have 800 or so
