It's funny how Microsoft continues to hold the rights to Halo, especially seeing as development of Halo didn't start under Microsoft.

I don't find it that odd, after all the intellectual property called "Halo" is what MS bought Bungie for in the first place. I am sure if they could have bought the rights to Halo withOUT purchasing Bungie they would have, I am guessing that either Bungie wouldn't do it, OR MS wanted CONTROL over Halo - e.g. purchasing Bungie outright was the only way to prevent Halo from being released as a Mac/PC game at the same time it was released for XBox.
