For multiplayer:
You need a 377 x 190 pixels bitmap image with a maximum of 256 colours.

Open Fear > File > Import Bitmap > Netmap Preview....

Then go to meshes, open a mesh and set the Pregame.

For the pictures in single-player narrations you need a program like Amber to open the map's collection, where those pictures are stored.

sadly, no

You need a mac with os 9 to run amber.

Though if you have the bitmaps ready and come on Hotline, I'm sure someone can do the importing for you

Hey darth,
I'm a beginning map maker too but I have amber, so if you've got the art, I can try and import it for you. I've been meaning to learn how to do that, so I could give it a shot. No promises on whether or not I'll succeed though.

P.S.

How do you get on hotline? I have some files I'd like to share.

If you are talking about getting an account (folder) on udogs' hotline server you need to logon to the udogs hotline site and ask one of the admins or ppl who hang out there. You can probably search these forums for 'udogs' and find a post that has a list of people who can set you up with an account/folder for you to upload your files into.

If you are talking about how to connect to _any_ hotline site, you need special (free) software - called a hotline client application.

Links to hotline client software and the address of the udogs hotline server can be found at http://www.orderofhpak.com/MythingLinks.html#Hotline
