I dont know why this just started happening, but Myth starts up with the screen looking wider with bigger fonts... like a Kiddie Myth or something.

The startup log seems to try 1440, but the actual resolution of the Mariusnet lobbies is 1280 or something.

maybe i'm hallucinating... anyway, actual games play at my desired resolution. it's just the startup screen and lobby look unusually wide and big.. but not by much...

The startup screen and lobby screen are 640x480. They appear stretched because your monitor has a widescreen aspect ratio. Some monitors give settings to use the correct aspect ratio when emulating resolutions, so look at your display settings - they may have reset.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. If the monitor resolution is 1440 x 900, then for the height, if you try to double the 480px image then 960px isn't going to fit (only 900 pixels available) so that results in the image looking a bit squashed vertically, but that probably just adds to the horizontal stretching effect because doubling the 640px width only gives you 1280 so to make that myth interface image expand up to fill 1440px worth of screen space it's stretching those lobby/pre-game displays out a LOT horizontally (by 160 pixels).
