I ask because I'm trying to convert the M3 interface to M2, and having trouble. Anyone familiar with how it works, please respond.

Even if he did, I highly doubt he'd share it.

Here's what I'm looking to do:
Turn this:
Into this:
It doesn't have to be spot on perfect, just the elements of the M3 interface in the corresponding areas of M2.

wow I just love being turned into the bad guy by Godz... maybe Raven should go through some old messages to read what I actually wrote, guess it's just a trick to get me to prove otherwise and hand over my stuff... but those type of tricks really dont work on me...
anyway, theres an app called dialog editor...
http://tain.totalcodex.net/items/show/m ... log-editor
replace the sprites of the interface collections in Amber and re-align them in dialog editor...
thats about it...
...Giz

Actually that shows that you won't share with us. That's okay though, since by doing it ourselves we don't have to hope and rely on you.

Attitude much?
Seriously, he told you what application he used, gave you an overview of HOW to do it and instead of thanking him for the info, this is your response?
People have lots of reasons for not wanting to share unfinished things they worked on, got to deal with it and move on without sniping out the rearview mirror. Besides, look at the bright side - this way you don't have to share credits as much.

In all fairness, I know as a fact that you VR dont have a clue how to do interface work. I know it quite well (and have spoken to Godz on hotline personally so dont make some snarky comment about me not helping) but Gizmo has given the _BARE MINIMUM_ of information of 'what to do', and considering he's done more than half the interface already, giving the files over would be the biggest help.
Collection editing is a complex process. It's really really not so simple as 'drag drop replace'. There's alot of meticulous pain in the ass involved in making an interface that works properly and perfectly. I think Godz pretty well nailed it on the head. They don't have gizmo's help, but they don't have to deal with him as a person either. Cause Gizmo's an asshole and everyone knows it! He almost boasts the fact that he is
(P.S. <3 Gizmo)

What I know how to do or not is irrelevant to my observation that no one OWES you anything just because they've already made something you want, and their not sharing it doesn't make them into a bad person.
Let me paraphrase what this conversation sounds like to me (emphasized emphatically by this post of yours)
"Waaah waaaaah, It's not fair, making interfaces is hard work, and someone who spent hours doing what i want to do won't give me their work. It's not fair, and he's a big meanie... waaaah waaaah!"
Caveat: As far as I know I actually like or at least have no outstanding issues/grudges or personal animosity toward ANYONE in this thread, this is just how this specific part of the conversation is sounding to me. Your mileage will vary.

Ok, now that you explain your perspective I see what you're saying, and its more in regards to the whole thread. I thought your post was regarding Godz's post about Gizmo not giving up the files specifically. However, I don't feel thats what Godzfire was saying or emphasizing. He was saying that by gizmo not giving up his files, he excludes himself entirely from being relied upon. Which is a good thing... relying on gizmo for anything = epic fail.

Exactly what I was trying to get across.
