I can't believe I don't know how to do this.

I'm halfway through making a single-player campaign for myth 2. The following issue has never come up, and I am baffled at the fact that I don't know how to do this.
How do I delete a unit/piece of scenery/etc?
I know. I know. Again, I know. Be kind. I realized I had placed something I didn't really want, and decided to delete it, but when i selected it and hit delete, nothing happened, and when I selected it and clicked Edit, hoping to use the delete there, it was greyed out. Now I have an extra dwarf on my map and a seriously wounded ego as I flounder in a pathetic attempt to delete ANYHTING from my map.
Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Feel free to mock, I'm sure I deserve it for this one.

For me selecting it and hitting delete works, which version of Fear are you using?

Odd, you should be able to delete it just be selecting it and pressing the delete key. And for good measure, save it and close it. Then reopen it and see if it worked. Maybe your delete key is not working? Maybe you had the wrong tool selected? Make sure you have the default arrow so you aren't adding more units/projs/scenery when you click on the map by accident. What if you did delete it but you had accidently placed lots of them in the same place?

Thanks for the response. I fiddled with the delete key and got it working. I'm on a mac, running a windows using bootcamp and I forgot I needed to use a function key to get the delete to work properly. Thank you both.

No offense, but why are you running any Myth related in Windows if you have an Intel Mac?

for your information, the myth that came in your CD works for both windows and mac
you can also copy your myth folder from the windows partition to the mac, download the 1.7 updates and it will work

Perhaps he prefers using Windows Loathing because it lets you move and delete multiple lines of script

Oh true
I always prefered to make maps and play myth on a PC
Though its a different thing on this imac lol
I agree mac loathing needs work though, its painful right now. Also adding balls and flags for gametypes, no options to check off all the gametype options

I suppose these options are not even on the table for future updates?

If worse came to worse and you couldn't delete the unit I think making it invisible would have worked.
