Myth II Linux CD with Mac OS X

Hello.
Long, long time ago, I played Myth II on Linux. Now I have a Mac that I do most of my desktop work. I tried running the Mac OS X 1.71 installer while having the Linux CD in the drive, but the installer fails to find a Myth II CD.
Is there anyway for me to use my Linux CD now on my Mac with v1.71?
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I had built the support to install from the Linux CD - but turns out it didn't work because the actual Linux CD name has Soulblighter misspelled (whereas I was checking for the correctly spelled version).
I've updated the Mac OS X installer to look for the misspelled version - so please re-download and it should just work now.

LOL. I didn't even notice that misspelling. Funny. Anyway, your first suggestion of just copying the tags directory and performing an update install worked beautifully. I can't wait to sit down and play this old classic
Thanks again.

Please re-download the installer anyway, as we had to make a last-minute bug fix.

yea, by the time I saw your post, the mac installer website was giving me an error, I came back 20 minutes later and it was back up. So I am pretty sure I used the latest one. The md5 sums of the one I used and the one that I just downloaded are the same
Code: Select all
MD5 (/Volumes/MAXimus/Tmp/Myth2_171.dmg) = db50f971b03e826938a603bf5df154f4
MD5 (Downloads/Myth2_171.dmg) = db50f971b03e826938a603bf5df154f4
