Windows 7 Install / New game issue

Hi

Just found both my Myth tfl and Myth 2 cd's again and i thought i would patch it to 1.71 and go through the solo campaigns again.

The Myth 2 cd Installshield (setup) refuses to start. So i installed it on my Windows Xp laptop copied the installed files over to my win 7 pc and patched it. It runs but the New Game option is grayed out. I thought it was a registry issue so i exported the Myth 2 keys from my XP box and installed it on my Windows 7 64 Bit machine same issues though. I still can't click on New game.

Is there another way to get it working.

Fixed it. Did a custom install with everything selected which seems to do a Network only install so i only did a Large install on my XP box and copied it over.

Thanks for posting your solution - it may help others with the same problem.

We'll look into making the 1.7.2 installer delete the 'network only' to make this fix automatic.
