I came across this new geocities site that has archived the old geocities sites. I don't know if they got everything, but they got at least some of it for sure. So I guess if you missed the boat in trying to backup some geocities page, now you have a second chance to do so. Just change the ".com" part into ".ws" and see if they have it.
