level crash: With Friends like these

i have a problem.

i have Myth 2 fully up to date and just recently whenever i reach said level, after the journal entry and cutscene, i get sent right back to the main menu.
i checked the log and i found these.

Error: File system Open in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #507: couldn't read header for object definition 'bown'.
Error: File system Open in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #593: projectile definition postprocess failed on 'guts organs'.

i tried reinstalling and re updating and there is no change. How on earth did this happen?

Can you post your whole log?

Do you have any files in your local folder besides formations and observer physics constants?

It's also possible that your game files are corrupt (scratched CD?). Here are the MD5 checksums for important files:

FYI, i installed Myth, both myth 2 and Myth 3, on a USB Stick so i can play it on the go. Also, the CD isnt scratched to a point where its screwed. and there are no files in the local folder.

Confirmed: Drippy Blood 1.0 is the problem.

Yep, disable the drippy blood plugin and try again.
