Equinox Map Pack 1

This has been deprecated by the individual plugins being uploaded (arsaidh, ziggurat, and sundering), as well as a newer ffa mesh (duelism). of the first three, only arsaidh has been updated; the other two are still the same 1.0 as in this pack, though i don't know if that affects compatibility or not.

changes in 1.1 - heron mystics now autotarget-able. while it was great and effective vs missile troops, it completely screwed up melee. goes to show that no matter how much you test, at least one thing needs one more test to be discovered. their healing cooldown is now approximately two minutes rather than 1.5.

stuff you should know:

Forest Giant

the forest giants on Faith, though taken from Cruelty, have some significant changes. - no steep movement (the mountains are barriers for all) - increased explosive damage (fireball, cocktail, mortar, wight incl. big pus) from 100% to 125% - reduced fire damage (ring of fire, burning terrain) from 200% to 175% - reduced paralysis "damage" from 100% to 75% (for comparison, ghols, thrall, and berserks are the shortest @ 50%)

bre-Unor Fanatic

simply put, they are cheaper and smarter bre. longly put, they now cost 3 points and will not gradually close ground between bone throws.

Heron Mystic

  • 5 points
  • drop their graduation class position and have only their initiation year as a name
  • healing uses mana rather than roots (recharge ~90 seconds)
  • invisible on the overhead map and will not be autotargeted
  • health is 7 (HG are 6.5, HGH are 7.5)
  • 25% resistance to kinetics (arrow, bre bone) and electricity
  • 100% immunity to confusion (doesn't apply on any of these maps)

Confusion Warlocks on Ziggurat

the assassin targets on both Ziggurat maps are Confusion Warlocks. by default trow are 100% susceptible just like all other living units. these trow have 90% resistance, which means they'll only be affected a very few seconds. this is a good time to remind you that stygians are not alive and therefore 100% immune to confusion; why more mapmakers haven't used these nice built-in unit relationships is beyond me.
