MONSTER CHANGING ARTIFACTS....

I have been dabbling with these quite a bit with CWR units getting on horses picking up and dropping flags, manning artillery and such...
though still have many things that dont seem to work just right maybe I am missing something or there is some room for some refinement in 1.7
Artifacts dont seem to be able to fully change the monster..... object size for instance and I assume object strength characteristics ie soldier getting in a tank shouldnt shrink to soldier obj size and shouldnt die as easily than when outside tank... attacks also seem to overide but you cant select the monsters sequence for the attack it only lets you select from the projectiles collections....
this is a challenge when a replacement arty man wants to change shell types and cant simply have the new shell type over ride the attack.... hes not fully changed into the artillery piece so inventory doest work the same...
anyway some challenges im trying to figure out and could use some help on...
anyone have some work arounds for this ... I have made it work by eliminating some options and compromising which works ok for cwr though as I jump into finishing cpr and AoM the object size really screws things up since now tanks will shrink when drivers get in and catapults will become mini catapults when manned by troops...
